Educational Initiatives
The Continental Inter-Tribal Union implements informational forums designed to educate the disempowered about global human rights under the United Nations Declaration of Human Rights. Categories of internal displacement include:

Definitions:

Physical displacement
People actually moving from or dispossessed of their homes. -
Interstate service displacement
People forced to cross state lines to obtain healthcare or another essential service.
Example: post-Dobbs abortion travelers. -
Economic displacement
People forced to relocate, sell businesses/farms, change occupations, or substantially alter living arrangements because of economic policy.
Example: farmers affected by trade retaliation. -
Occupational displacement
People losing jobs or professional roles because programs are abolished.
Example: federal/college DEI personnel. -
Institutional displacement
People losing access to an institution, program or benefit and being forced into another system.
Example: SAVE borrowers moved into different repayment structures. -
Civic-access displacement
People who lose access to a previously available way of voting or participating in civic life.
Example: disabled, elderly or homebound voters affected by changes to absentee/mail voting.
Cultural Celebrations
We celebrate Indigenous cultures through various events that highlight traditions, art, and music. Participate in our cultural celebrations to honor and preserve our rich heritage.
